Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Engineer will work with the project team to support all documentation as well as QA/QC activities required under the contract in multiple projects. This position will also work with site superintendents to best utilize labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparing scheduling of subcontractors on site
  • Receiving and checking quality of materials
  • Completing QA/QC checklists
  • Submittals (material approvals)
  • R5’s (general questions)
  • Preparing official documents for the project, routing and finalizing
  • Preparing projects reports as needed
  • Back up documentation
  • Close-outs final quantities
  • Proposing/ negotiation extra work
  • Special projects within the Project Management function as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Management Department
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Civil Engineers, Construction Management, or related field preferred); High School Diploma or equivalent required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented, and good organization skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with others, both written and orally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore and Viewpoint.
  • Proficient in Windows based applications.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment
  • At least 2 years prior experience in civil construction 
  • Ability to travel on a flexible schedule for extended periods of time on an as needed basis; (Specific projects may require travel).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
