About the position:

The Catering Service Specialist is an office based, customer focused position responsible for nurturing relationships with clients utilizing both verbal and digital communication through the entire catering order lifecycle - from assistance with menu questions and guidance around solutions to fit a customer's event or budget need, to confirmation of orders, post-delivery follow up, account maintenance activities and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

The role works closely with the management team to ensure we provide the best service possible to every customer.

  • As a Catering Service Specialist you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Panera menu
  • Understand the needs of our customers, and provide appropriate communication to ensure satisfaction by Engaging, Exploring and Exceeding
  • Work as a team player with a passion for continuous learning
  • Build catering sales through strong customer relationships, providing great customer service and involvement in sales building activities

We're looking for:

  • Great verbal and written communication and people skills
  • Food or retail sales/service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with learning to use different software applications including Outlook and SalesForce
  • Ability to handle engaging customers by phone while entering data into a computer related to their orders
  • Well-developed personal organization skills
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Team success philosophy
  • Strong problem solving/customer resolution and time management
  • Must have own transportation for assistance with customer deliveries on occasion and acceptable driving record
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
