Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Diesel Service Apprentice Intern . The Diesel Service Apprentice Intern is a part time position for students currently attending Tech School. The position is designed to provide the Intern on-the-job training and to observe their technical competency, aptitude and work ethic. During the Internship, he/she will perform light maintenance and routine service while mentoring with an experienced Technician to learn and observe more advanced repairs. Upon the satisfactory completion of the Internship and school program, the Intern will be considered for full-time opportunities within the organization.

• Performs assigned job functions under close supervision of a Foreman, Leadman, Supervisor or designated competent fellow employee
• Gains work related knowledge and experience through on-the-job training and formal off-site training at current Tech School
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools and equipment
• Abides by all company and school policies

MHC is an expansion of the original company, Ozark Kenworth, Inc. Ozark Kenworth started in Springfield, Missouri, in January 1975. Opening for business without a Parts or Service department and only three employees in a temporary facility. From there, the company grew and expanded.
