The mission of the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.

We hope to improve the chances of success for young Black Men by encouraging them towards success in the educational process, sharing with them our collective life's experience, imparting to them a system of values and ethics, and exposing them to the world beyond their immediate communities.

Founded in 1986, 100 Black Men of America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentoring service, scholarship assistance and overall support for community development. There are over 88 chapters and 14,000 members across the United States, England, and The Bahamas. The Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter was one of 9 founding chapters.

Our mission is to increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of African American students.

Created in 1994, the Alliance of Latinos and Jews works on building new and enhancing existing relations between the Jewish and Latino communities by focusing on issues of common concern: business and economic development, policy/civic, and social and cultural affairs.

Our mission is to advance the general welfare of American Indians into the metropolitan community life; to foster the economic and educational advancement of Indian people; to sustain cultural, artistic and avocational pursuits; and to perpetuate Indian cultural values.

AAFS' mission is to change and impact the quality of life by serving and building stronger and healthier generations of Arab Americans in our communities.

The Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) promotes cross-cultural understanding of Asian American and Asian international experiences, and provides educational and cultural support for Asians and Asian Americans in our university community.

The Asian Health Coalition of Illinois (AHCI) is a grassroots organization, created by community members and health care providers in December 1996. Our mission is to improve the health and well being of all Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPIs) in Illinois through the development of an AAPI health agenda.

In 1978, leaders from the Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Asian Indian, and Vietnamese communities of Chicago established Asian Human Services (AHS) to meet the critical human service and health care needs of the growing Asian immigrant and refugee populations in metropolitan Chicago.

Association House was established in 1899 to serve as a community resource to help families help themselves. Association House programs have adapted with each changing era to meet the current communities’ needs. We have always focused on a core mission to offer services to economically disadvantaged individuals and families. We offer programs in both English and Spanish in three broad service areas listed below.

Our purpose is to facilitate access to resources which promotes economic growth in the Latino Marketplace. The AHCC operates and conducts its activities with the above in mind while we continue to provide increased services to our membership, increased visibility of our Chamber, networking opportunities, guest speakers and a strengthened pride for participants in our Latino Marketplace.

The Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County, (BCCLC) is a broad-based federation of business, industrial, professional firms and interested individuals within Lake County that are organized to enhance the economic and socioeconomic health of their community.

Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) is an Information Technology organization consisting of professionals from all areas of IT and varied cities across the nation. Our intent is to accumulate a pool of data processing knowledge and business experience with the intention of utilizing these resources to strengthen the expertise of minority members of the data processing community.

The Black United Fund of Illinois has a goal of developing systematic mechanisms to rally resources for the African American community. These mechanisms for liberation are designed to encourage individuals at every economic level to set aside a portion of their own resources (i.e., ideas, money, supplies, strategies, energy, skills, and time) to support economic development, alternative education projects, arts and culture, health and human service programs, social justice, legal services, research, and emergency needs.
