Our mission is to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of our community by linking individuals with employment opportunities through training and services. In addition to a variety of public access services, Career Link, an Illinois workNet™ center offers programs which require various types of eligibility requirements. Businesses can post job openings, identify and pre-screen potential applicants, and meet job seekers one-on-one at our Job Fairs. Our On-the-Job Training programs offer financial incentives for qualified employees while they learn in the workplace.

For the purpose of expanding economic opportunity, the Illinois workNet™ Portal and Program utilizes partnerships and technology to expand seamless and real-time access to workforce development resources aimed at individuals, businesses and workforce professionals. Innovative partnerships span state economic development, workforce development, education agencies, and local workforce investment boards along with their public and private partners including local governments, community colleges and non-profit organizations.

The Racine County Business Services Team is the leading source of jobs in the Racine area. We provide a broad array of services to professional and technical workers in Southeastern Wisconsin, including career counseling and employment assistance. Members of this focused team maintain ongoing relationships with local businesses, and as a result, are often the first to know where the jobs are in the Racine area.

The Rock County Job Center provides resources to assist the community in enhancing the quality of the workforce. A wide range of education, employment, training and supportive services are available at one convenient location. The Job Center is recognized by the United States Department of Labor as a "model" job center and has received recognition as the "#1 One Stop in the Nation".

The Springfield Illinois Employment Training Center is a joint effort between the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the Land Of Lincoln Consortium, and the Sangamon County Department of Community Resources. Together these agencies provide information, at no cost, for those individuals currently seeking employment as well as those exploring career changes.
