Position Statement: Act as the visionary expert for the respective ensemble. Be responsible for all elements of running the pep ensemble. Duties/responsibilities are based on the needs of each individual ensemble/organization. Responsibilities could include any and/or all of the following: Repertoire Knowledge, Rehearsal Skills, Performance Skills, (both individual and group), Technology, ability to communicate well with others.
Essential Functions: > Music Library organization > Plan and execute Music Tours; > Coordinate all performances and extra rehearsals; > Set-up and tear-down of the performance area > Coordinating this ensembles performances at several home basketball events.
Skills: Bachelor of Music Education minimum requirement. Individual should be a strong leader in music with excellent skills in conducting, performance, music analysis, and style interpretation. Vision to lead and maintain a cutting edge program with artistic vision and direction.
Calendar: November through March.
Hours Per Week: Approximately 2-6 Hours per week
Building: West
Performance Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the District evaluation procedures.
