This role is within Chamberlain Group's Revenue Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) develop and implement Sales Strategies to drive Revenue growth in the Retail channel, (ii) monitor performance of Retail business and guide activities to close potential gaps or capitalize on identified opportunities, (iii) lead collaboration to drive OPEX between CG and Retailers and strengthen partnerships. This role requires strategic thinking, strong financial acumen, effective cross-functional collaboration, and executive presence to gain buy-in for programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business leadership to develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities. Gain buy-in from cross-functional leaders on the overall strategy and execution plans.

  • Execution of annual and quarterly sales plans, including sales opportunities, activities, and Retailer specific initiatives. Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with marketing, product, and finance teams.

  • Partner with finance to lead price and promotional strategy and calendar across retail to maximize topline growth and profitability. Ensure channel pricing aligns with established price / pack architecture strategy.

  • Develop Financial models and run scenarios to make determinations on program selection/characteristics that can quantify cost of sales programs or promotions and advise on their impact on yield and profitability. Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Define financial and non-financial key performance metrics to measure success of programs and partner engagement.

  • Contribute to GTM planning for new product launches. Partner with marketing on the development of supporting launch plans, and to ensure appropriate sales stories are created to enable sell in.

  • Supervise the management of data and systems to ensure seamless operations between CG and Retailers. Evaluate and optimize sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve sales productivity.

  • Collaborate with sales enablement teams to develop sales training programs, tools, and resources to support the sales team. Ensure sales representatives have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively engage with customers and drive sales.

  • Be an expert on competitive landscape with comprehensive understanding of Retail business to strategically position Chamberlain Group to exceed competitive programs and offerings. Develop and lead implementation of action plans to address unexpected challenges.

  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • 8+ years in Sales and/or Marketing; 5+ years Retail Business Development

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time in North America

  • Preferred: Master's in Business Administration (MBA)

  • Preferred: Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry

  • Preferred: Experience with Smart Home Products

  • Preferred: Project management certification
