We have an opportunity for a Technical Writer to join our Commercial & Infrastructure Flow (C&IF) Marketing team. This growing business manufactures sustainable pump solutions for commercial and industrial water disposal, water supply, fire suppression, and infrastructure applications. You will directly impact our ability to create and deliver high quality user documentation and technical marketing materials to continue driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

*** You will work a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week on-site) in Golden Valley, MN or North Aurora, IL. *** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

• Create, edit, and maintain high quality end-user documentation for Pentair products, such as installation guides, user guides, quick-start guides, document addendums, etc.
• Manage and maintain technical documentation within various digital asset management systems.
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) in Engineering and Product Management to research and fully understand product procedures and specifications important to channel partners and end-users for use in white papers or trade publications.
• Produce PDF and HTML/web-based publications using a variety of tools, including Adobe InDesign.
• Assist in proofing and editing technical publications of other writers.
• Create and edit effective vector graphics from provided SolidWorks drawings/assemblies as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
• Have 2+ years' experience as a technical writer or in a related technical / communications field. Experience writing technical content for electro-mechanical, hydraulic, or rotating equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex technical procedures and concepts to a wide audience of industry professionals and homeowners.
• Experience utilizing Adobe InDesign and/or related design tools to create long-form written technical content.
• Experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop or AutoCAD/SolidWorks a plus.
