We are currently seeking a Lease Servicing Specialist that will work with our customers, sales, documentation team and accounting of Old National Equipment Finance division of Old National Bank, on a daily basis. We support all levels of the new deals financed through ONEF from booking to termination. Listed below you will find a few characteristics the position requires:

Key Accountabilities

Lease/Loan Funding and Booking:

    Responsible for execution of booking, funding vendors, and verifying the accuracy of loan documents to new accounts utilizing Aspire and OnPointe.
  • Authority to wire up to $4MM daily as needed.
  • Understand the multiple types of finance products we have from loans, leases, indirect deals, etc.
  • Maintain adequate controls to ensure compliance with consumer protection statues/regulations.

Daily functions:

  • Process payments received through Lockbox, email, phone calls, and mail.
  • Coordinate payments between Aspire and core system.
  • Generate EFT file for NACHA Auto Payments daily.
  • Send scheduled billing to customers.
  • Process payoff funds and terminate accounts.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from external and internal customers.
  • Reconciliation of DDA to general ledger transactions.
  • Provide and understand payoff calculations on the different types of finance products.

Additional functions:

  • Research and correct misapplied payments/transactions as identified, as well as analyze payment histories.
  • Run delinquency batches.
  • Maintain and collect insurance renewal certificates.
  • Collect titles and send them out after accounts paid off.
  • File maintenance of new deals and pulling terminated file for retention.
  • UCC Terminations and continuations.
  • Assist in special projects such as system conversions and/or bank acquisitions.
  • Provide backup to all functions on the team.

Customer service:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage complex client issues and bring to resolution.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding early terminations, payoffs, and end of lease purchase options.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience in equipment leasing or bank financing required.
  • Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loans and leases.
  • Familiarity with Aspire leasing system a plus.
  • Vehicle Title and Sales tax knowledge a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Position may require the need to travel to other branches or meeting locations.
