Remote based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Job Description

As the VP, Food Insights Leader at NIQ, you will be responsible for establishing NIQ's credibility, positioning, and engagement across Food-related CPG manufacturers and retailers across categories including Snacks, Confectionary, Fresh Food, Pantry and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.

  • Promoting NIQthrough presentations at conferences and similar external events to cultivate specific new client leads and opportunities among existing clients.
  • Prepare thought leadership materials and present/publish in appropriate forums with support from analytics associates capable of conducting the direct data analysis.
  • Collaboration with marketing and communications on positioning, market and client trends, the values NIQstands for in the Food industry, and leveraging thought leadership for demand generation campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a network of interested NIQassociates in Food categories to create additional advocacy and industry participation. Create a catalogue of best practices to be leveraged across internal teams.
  • Partnerwith Sales Leaders and Product Sales Leaders to enable them to achieve sales goals.
  • Participate in client meetings to provide industry perspective and opportunity.
  • Buildand maintainstrong networking and C-suite engagement with key players at clients. Lead discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners.
  • Assist in business development efforts for client engagement across manufacturers and retailers.
  • Provide input to product development on key needs in Food product attribution, reporting, insight, and analytics / innovation.
  • Gainfamiliarity with the NIQportfolio and inter-connectivity of different solutions.

About You

You are a practitioner in the Food industry with knowledge and connections among retailers and brands. You confidently speak to the industry issues, consumer trends, and the needs of the industry players. You enjoy presenting and are energized when engaging large and senior level audiences. Your communication skills are top notch! You are able to interweave strategic points, engaging stories, and key data points to craft a compelling storyline. You are comfortable utilizing insights and analytics and view them as a key component of product development, brand management, marketing and merchandising.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience in the Food industry with directCPG andretailer leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience creating thought leadership.
  • Industry speaking experience and connectivity to the major Food trade organizations and industry players.
  • Proven track record of building client and industry engagement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the power indata analytics to drive brand building, marketing, retail merchandising and innovation.
  • Experience working with complex client relationships.
  • 25% domestic travel is expected.
  • Bachelor'sor Master's Degree.
  • Prior experience with NIQsolutions and/or other syndicated data provider preferred.
