Position Summary:
Are you ready to embrace an exciting opportunity as a Patient Scheduling Specialist? In this role, our Scheduling Specialists play a pivotal role in handling inquiries from callers with precision and efficiency. You'll be responsible for accurately documenting inquiries from patients and providers, facilitating the screening process, scheduling appointments, and guiding patients to the appropriate providers, services, or level of care. Your role also involves equipping patients with essential information to make the most of Carle's services, and you'll serve as a vital link in communication between yourself, providers, and patients to ensure that patient's needs are met.

Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a Medical Terminology course within one (1) year of hire date.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous public contact position using interpersonal skills.
