Job Summary

Support U.S. Transportation Command's (USTRANSCOM's) Joint Training and Readiness Division as a Functional Area Communications and Computer Systems Manager for Local Area Network administration, knowledge management, records management and trusted agent responsibilities for Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) systems. Perform duties as Site Owner for NIPR and SIPR Sharepoint and Intelshare sites. Perform Agent duties for cross-domain enterprise email service. Monitor Information Technology systems for compliance with Department of Defense and USTRANSCOM cybersecurity policies and procedures. Conduct software imaging, account set-up and application configuration of computer systems at persistent workstations and on laptop computers. Assist users with software selection, initialization and upgrading. Develop systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures. Perform SIPR token password resets, process new tokens. Process new contractors in AARS system (for initial NIPR and SIPR accounts). Update group mailboxes and distribution lists (new and departing employees). Utilize AMHS to send out messages for exercises. Alternate Equipment Custodian - monitor tag numbers, equipment swaps and update to Warehouse.


  • Eligible for a U.S. passport.
  • Must possess a secret clearance (minimum) and meet eligibility requirements for Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
  • 2+ years of experience providing software and IT systems support to DoD, government or municipal agencies.
  • 2+ years of experience as LAN Administrator to include wired and wireless connections.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting computer system imaging, configuration and user access.
  • CompTIA certification preferred.
  • Experience in Knowledge Management and Records Management in SharePoint and Intelshare environments.
  • Bachelor's degree desired (combination of job experience and CompTIA certification may substitute)
  • Experience in cross-domain enterprise email service desired.
  • Ability to organize and complete assignments according to established standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
  • Skilled in all aspects of communications for briefings, presentations and classroom instructions
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office presentation, word processing, spreadsheet and collaboration applications
  • Must be able to travel unassisted to CONUS and oversees locations to perform job duties.
  • Desired Experience in Key Management Infrastructure and Communications Security desired
