Your Future Team

Hightower's marketing department is dedicated to building sophisticated and forward-thinking marketing solutions and tools for Hightower's financial advisory practices, corporate needs, and developing and maintaining Hightower's brand across all channels. The team is responsible for a wide range of marketing and creative guidance and services, including collateral creation; multimedia content development; website design; social media marketing; paid media marketing; digital marketing automation; campaign journeys; event strategy and related campaigns; and more.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, we ask that you be someone who has experience building and executing communications plans, who can successfully meet deadlines. You must have an eye for detail and the ability to write for different audiences; we are looking for someone who can manage a schedule of newsletters, emails, and other comms within brand who can also collaborate with other departments to effectively communicate important initiatives without over-saturation. An understanding of the nuances of social media is also an asset.

What You'll Do

  • Champion for newly created communications guidelines; work with all departments to create communication plans for major initiatives and write/edit all communications for a single voice/tone
  • Establish and lead a monthly communications meeting with stakeholders to track and plan communications effectively (including planning for town hall, etc.)
  • Coordination with compliance/legal to create a strategy to communicate next steps from SEC audit and various regulatory guidelines
  • Review, edit, and maintain corporate site
  • Collaborate on M&A releases, corporate releases
  • Manage and mentor junior marketing team members, and nurture employee growth
  • Work side-by-side with the various Hightower departments to ensure alignment

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to innovate and accomplish "big picture" goals
  • 10+ years of proven experience in financial services communications; RIA/advisory experience a plus
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment, and as an engaged manager
  • Effective judgment in reacting and responding to advisor and home office requests
  • Ability to write in different styles/formats across print and digital channels
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or relevant field
