Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Site Supervisorfor the St. Louis area on-site plants and Granite City Air Separation Facility.

Our Site Supervisor is directly responsible for all phases of operation for the on-site Air Separation facilities and will also provide leadership assistance for the facility in Granite City. This role requires an understanding of all aspects of sites responsibilities (plant operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer communications) with a specific focus on leadership and operating skills.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Commitment to safety, including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management.
  • Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communication.
  • Completion of all administrative responsibilities for the site.
  • Day-to-day operations:
  • Solving plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects.
  • 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns.
  • Identifying maintenance concerns, developing and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets.
  • Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, and the Granite City Site Manager

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • A track record of success in EH&S and Quality.
  • A self-starter with validated leadership abilities. Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards.
  • Air Separation Units (ASUs) knowledge is a plus but not a specific requirement as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to work independently with equal ability to work very effectively as a team.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Clean driving record required.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of relevant operations experience.
  • Maintenance or I&E background a plus.
  • Technical degree and/or certification a plus.
  • Clean driving record required.
