Hours: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) This role is on-site.
Pay: $25-$30/hour based on experience
Campus: Evanston, On-site
Approximate start date: ASAP
Approximate end date: Mid-Late July

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Full-time Temporary Project Coordinator for the Evanston campus for an Executive Office. There is a possibility for this temporary position to be considered for a full-time permanent opportunity with the department based on performance.

Temporary Job Description:

  • Answers and/or redirects incoming phone calls
  • Prioritizing, directing, and responding to various functions associated with an Executive office
  • Manages calendar via Outlook
  • Coordinates and arranges travel arrangements and submits expense reports
  • Effectively handles highly sensitive, and often highly confidential, information using tact, diplomacy and exemplary judgement
  • Interacts with external partners as well as internal constituents.
  • Works collaboratively with other administrators within the department
  • Coordinates communications and follows up on behalf executive leadership
  • May prepare presentations via Microsoft PowerPoint

Qualifications Required:

  • A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
  • Strong writing skills; confidentiality
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Diligent and can work independently;
  • Experience working with confidential information;
  • Professionalism;
  • Flexibility, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Software Required:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
