Duties: The Senior UI Framework Software Engineer at CNH Industrial America in Oak Brook, Illinois will design, develop, and evaluate software from concept through production stage, and make modifications as needed, to meet customer needs and fit within the capabilities of the Precision Technology. Research, develop, and maintain a Qt based UI Framework (QML/C++/Javascript) utilized by internal application development teams. Determine purpose, application, estimate scope and feasibility of new or enhancement of existing software. Create and maintain software architecture/design and public interface documentation for internal teams. Work with internal application software teams on deployment/troubleshooting, guidelines and best practices. Utilize in-house along with GNU/Linux middleware and system service interfaces to develop customer facing UI. Coordinate engineering efforts and provide general engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers. Keep up to date of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications. Provide/assist with training needs as it relates to new or existing software. Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days per week. Salary: $102,700-$145,200/year.

Minimum Requirements: Position requires a Master's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field along with two years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or related occupation. The two years of experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: (1) Working with C++ or Qt and QML in a GNU or Linux Embedded system, (2) working with software configuration CI or CD, (3) Agile software development, (4) software product development and procedures, and (5) unit testing, build automation, branched-based development, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
