Job Description

The Media Planner is responsible for media strategy development, planning/buying and campaign analysis related to multiple onlineacquisition channels. This individual serves as the day-to-day internal team and client contact and demonstrates an emerging ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with creative and analytics. They also assist in the training and mentorship of assistant media planners. Has completed media plans independently. Has shown the ability to analyze data and glean relative insights; can present information/plans to clients (in writing and verbally). Has demonstrated emerging relationship skills and a good working knowledge of web media processes, terms, publishers, and products. Has mastered internal planning tools.

Core Craft Skills

  • Participates with client and internal team to establish media goals, objectives and strategies for advertising campaigns.
  • Studies demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences for online advertising; draws POV from data.
  • Evaluates editorial content and audience composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach target audience.
  • Negotiates independently with publishers.
  • Works cross-functionally (particularly with creative and analytics).

Client Exposure

  • Contributes to media plan and client presentation.
  • Daily internal team contact and ongoing tactical contact with clients

Business Operations

  • Completes month-end billing in partnership with the account management team
  • Emerging expertise across Prisma: executes placements, maintains quality control on placements, handles back-end billing.

Team Leadership

  • Assists in training and mentorship of Media Coordinators.

Agency Leadership

  • Participates in shared learning and works with Sr. Media Planners to help put together POVs across the department.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university.

Previous Experience

  • 1+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation Range: $58,500 - $92,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
