The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Control Manager at Worley plays a pivotal role in facilitating the development and effective implementation of Project Quality Management Systems by the Project Team. This role ensures that the quality management processes align with Corporate, location, and contractual requirements. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing project service and product verification and inspection of project deliverables in accordance with criticality assessments, as well as contractual and regulatory obligations. They also oversee project quality support functions, including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, management of change, audits, and project quality reporting and review.

Decision Making
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Control Manager makes independent decisions and sets priorities related to complex situations. They may manage smaller projects or oversee portions of larger projects. The role is responsible for the daily administration of project-related policies and processes to ensure the project meets business objectives.

Supervision Received
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Control Manager works with self-initiated interaction with a supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. They have influence over their duties. Work is assigned in terms of broad objectives to be accomplished and is reviewed for policy adherence, soundness of approach, and general effectiveness. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination with other company departments.

Supervision Authority
This role manages and directs work directly or through supervisors or professionals leading others.

Communication
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Control Manager is responsible for effectively communicating and taking a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to staff and management. They possess the ability to persuade and influence others and can recognize and resolve conflicts.

Systems, Processes & Tools
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Control Manager has an advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field. They can assist others and troubleshoot issues. This role may be involved in the development of new systems, processes, and tools to enhance project quality management.

The salary range for this position is $42/hr - $70/hr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), HSA/FSA, medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, AD&D, EAP, parental leave, and PTO

Typical Qualifications
University Degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Extensive years of relevant experience, including supervisory, project management, and/or technical experience.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
