As a Senior Solutions Producers, we provide peace of mind to seniors and their families as they coordinate life after their careers. We educate our clients on their options for Medicare coverage, long-term care, supplemental health insurance, and retirement benefits to help them plan for the best by preparing for the worst. We work to safeguard our customer's assets to ensure generational wealth is passed to the next generation and ensure that our customers and their loved ones are set up for the future.

This role is responsible for generating new sales, specializing in all aspects of senior products including but not limited to Medicare-related products, life and long-term care insurance. Responsible for meeting service needs of new and existing customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serves as a sales representative for all senior products.
Generates prospects for new business through First Mid channels.
Meets with the prospects to gather underwriting information, to deliver quotes, and close sales.
Handles customer service requests in conjunction with other staff members.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with internal contacts at First Mid to deliver service to customers throughout the First Mid franchise.
Complete and maintain required training and licensing associated with job functions.
Cross-sell other insurance and bank products in a professional manner.
Performs related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree or the equivalent as well as prior successful sales and account management experience.

Skills:

Very strong interpersonal skills including ability to sell.
Strong oral and written communication skills including computer literacy.
Very strong analytical skills including the ability to identify customer needs and identify insurance product solutions to those needs.
May be required to work earlier or later than the normal workday.
May require work outside the office, work extended hours and/or conduct business off-site during customer visits.
