We are now looking for a Package Handler to join our team in Chicago.

In this role, you will coordinate the in/out of shipments through our warehouse to some of the biggest companies in the world. To be successful, you need to be highly organized, accurate, and physically able to move boxes varying in weight & size.

What you'll do:
  • Coordinate the inbound/outbound of orders at our in-house warehouse which consists of tracking, scanning, receiving, weighing, measuring, opening, inspecting, removing paperwork, repacking, relabelling, and shipping out using various couriers
  • Responsible for the efficient and timely coordination of shipments while maintaining all required internal communications
  • May use a pallet jack but does not operate a forklift
  • Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and Facilities
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary operating environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision
  • Other duties as assigned
What it takes:
  • Must be able to work with computers, scanners, and google sheets
  • Must be able to move boxes varying in weights & sizes
  • A desire to improve efficiency and workflows
  • An ownership mindset - you stick with an issue until it's solved
  • Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs.

Physical Demands:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
