Parts Customer Service Representative

Job Description
Kress Corporation is looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to join our Parts department. This position will allow you to assist our customers all over the globe.
Responsibilities:
Create revenue and profit through polite and diplomatic handling of Kress spare part orders: provide quotes, enter orders in order management software, aid customers in identifying the correct parts, refer technical support inquiries to specialists, and answer order information inquires
Collaborate with production planning to provide proper inputs to scheduling as well as accurate lead times and ready-to-ship (RTS) dates to customers.
Identify and remediate order issues before entering the order: incorrect prices, inadequate profit, sales contract formation issues, INACT or IHACT parts, etc.
Properly vet customer urgency and react as appropriate to initiate unit down and hot orders.
Job Duties:
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
Serve as inside sales to increase sales volume per customer
Refer opportunities for Kress to deepen customer relationship to the Parts Department Manager when they are identified
Proficient use of Kress’s order management software
Assist finance in collecting late (>60 days) payments for parts orders
Ensure proper application of company policy
Communication in English via email and telephone
Work must be accurately and timely
Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and initiating safety audits where unsafe conditions exist

Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma, required. Associates or bachelors degree, preferred
- Minimum one year experience in customer facing role
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment service or manufacturing
- Basic understanding of business to business commerce
- Ability to type 30 words per minute accurately
- Excellent telephone communication
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite of software
- Infor experience a plus
