What You Will Do:

The Director of Marketing, Brand Management is instrumental in the development, management, and execution of the National Louis University brand. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic and strategic thinker who can manage multiple tasks and projects with a focus on enhancing brand awareness and effectively creating collateral and tools to represent the university to potential students and the general public. With oversight of the design team and select partner agencies, this individual is accountable to manage the team and forge relationships across the university at a senior level to inform strategies for the visual identity and necessary content to represent each college and its programs.

Essential Responsibilities
    Brand Strategy and Positioning: Ensuring alignment with institutional objectives, oversee all production of materials, signage, campus visuals, website appearance, and social media to represent the NLU identity.
  • Team and Project Management: Manage workflow of all marketing deliverables, whether for internal or external use. Develop the team to work independently and communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders.
  • Relationship and Vendor Management: Ensure the needs of each entity within the university is being met for both enrollment and support materials though effective and open communication. Manage outside vendors, contractors, agencies as assigned.
  • Work on special creative and written/content projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or other related program required
  • At least 7 years of marketing and brand strategy experience, required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supervising and leading others on a team including: delegation of projects, support, training, performance management and developing the skills of others.
  • At least 3 years of professional writing experience (i.e. websites, blogs, press releases, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing the development and distribution of collateral for brand strategies
  • Ability to create and understand design materials
