Join our team in helping seniors and persons with disabilities in exploring benefits and community services while they live independently atAurora Senior Housing, a HUD funded community. Our Social Service Coordinators are full time/part time and enjoy working with our residents individually regarding their needs along with planning social and educational events. Essential Functions:
  • Engage residents while providing needs assessments.
  • Support residents with entitlement applications.
  • Enjoy establishing a rapport with residents while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Plan social and educational programs for residents and staff.
  • Assist the Housing Manager through difficult resident interactions.
Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
  • Preferred experience with older adults and entitlements.
  • Willingness & Ability to participate/obtain HUD Related Training or other training as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
