This role will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.   • Support equipment safety, quality and performance improvement needs by being a responsive resource to troubleshooting calls during and after normal business hours.

  • Manage continuous improvement projects:

  • Clearly define projects to track that they are on schedule, documented and brought to completion.

  • Track and report metrics on projects

  • Conducts regular communication on projects and troubleshooting initiatives to the necessary parties.

  • Complete all required audits.

  • Develop and Implement strategies to streamline workflow, improve equipment performance and minimize down time.

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity, reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.

  • Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective/preventative actions to drive continuous improvement.

  • Attend required meetings including but not limited to:

  • Monthly Department meetings in Offline, Flexo, QIT

  • Town Hall meetings

  • Enforce all plant policies and procedures and all plant and department safety rules, including food safety.

  • Participate in customer, supplier or vendor visits as requested.

  • Attend all required training as deemed necessary. (i.e Conflict Management, Personality/Generational Differences)

  • Create, audit and revise training processes and documentation as needed.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

When your expertise drives us.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the packaging or printing industry.

  • Experience with Flexo printing or die cutting equipment a plus.

  • Possess strong communication skills and be familiar with computer concepts.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, equipment operation and material properties.

  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
