Opportunity available for a paid Internship this summer that will introduce you to Omron's world of Technology, Sales and Marketing!

We are looking for students who want a 12 week internship to immerse themselves in:

Product Support

• Acquire technical knowledge for Omron Components (Relay, Switches, Connectors and Sensors)
• Work with our Technical Support group for daily inquiries from customers and sales

Product Marketing

• Acquire product knowledge for Omron Components (Relay, Switches, Connectors and Sensors)
• Develop competitive product comparisons and price analysis

Business Development

• Market analysis for focus industries such as Energy, Automated Test, Gaming, Power Tools etc.
• Gain application knowledge within focus industries

Field Application Engineering

• Learn about field application engineering day-to-day work
• Enhance hands-on experience with Product demos

Digital Marcom

• Gain knowledge of Digital Marketing and Website Management
• Experience virtual webinar, e-learning development and execution

Sales

• Gain experience in sales prospecting
• Understand account management and sales channels

Internship Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Engineering: EE, EET or ME preferred
• Seeking a career in Product Support, Product Marketing or Application Development
• You are a highly motivated self-starter
• You are energetic, assertive, focused
• You have relationship-building skills
• You have good organizational skills
• You're a team player, but can work independently as well
• You have excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• You can travel within the US
• Expected graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025

Note**: With our current hybrid work model, most work will be completed remotely, however there will be required days on site at the Hoffman Estates corporate office.
