US Cash Management ACH Operations - Associate Director

Job Description Summary

  • The ACH Operations team at RBC is a cross-functional team responsible for RBC suite of money movement and payments products. Numerous companies depend on our service for their payment needs. The Operations team is committed to offer support to our clients and to reimagine how payments will evolve to move their money in a convenient and secure manner while remaining compliant with payment regulations.
  • The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Client Oversight, Product, Engineering, and our GTM teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to our clients.

What will you do?

  • Assist in creating and maintaining operational procedures and policies
  • Responsible for ACH Return Monitoring and reporting
  • Monitor exposure limits for ACH Originators, including acting as a liaison between our Client and Credit Risk teams.
  • Responsible for ACH Investigations including but not limited to request for record of authorization, ACH Recalls, ACH Reversals, and Trace Requests.
  • Daily Reconciliation of Payment Activity
  • Responsible for reviewing and resolving operational alerts.
  • Working directly with clients to resolve issues; gathering customer needs and working with the product team and account managers to resolve them.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 6-10 years' experience in ACH Operations role
  • Understanding of the client experience and journey
  • Change leader / Self-starter
  • Good communicator (spoken and written) - specifically process modeling, procedures, training etc.
  • Builds trust at all levels
  • Drives to Action / Hands-on-approach
  • Encourages collaboration
  • Encourages new ways of working on helping solve issues
  • Receptive to being challenged and think outside the box
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Familiar with the Nacha rules and regulations
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Certification preferred

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $120,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
