Performance Marketing Manager

Purpose of role: Digital media planning and bid management strategy, to enable performance marketing campaigns that drive growth of website and marketplaces as well as sales of key products in the Hearing Category. Full-funnel ad activation, optimization, KPI planning and reporting.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:

  • Act as the central point of contact and owner of media planning and execution for the Hearing Category of Sennheiser, with a focus on the US market - liaising with relevant stakeholders across Marketing, Product and eCom as needed
  • Oversee the processes for Lead Generation, campaign strategy, creation, execution, optimization and reporting - working with internal and external partners and agencies on the execution.
  • Development of asset list with all creative and technical specs / requirements per platform and format
  • Audience definition and implementation
  • Performance evaluation as well as derivation of next optimization steps
  • Campaign budget monitoring
  • Work across Marketing team from Campaign briefing through execution, involving relevant stakeholders from Product, Digital, PR, and eCom teams
  • When needed, brief and manage agencies on specific campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends, keeping the media plans balanced between doing what works and testing new things

Education and Skillset:

  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, media planning, media buying. Agency experience or in-house Lead Generation / Performance Marketing needed Degree in Business, Marketing or technology preferred
  • Consumer journey mapping and optimization experience a strong plus
  • Professional development in digital marketing or digital solutions a strong plus Availability and willingness to take up a moderate degree of travel both domestically and internationally
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written and oral presentation skills
  • Must have a passion for numbers and metrics - and have the analytical skills to translate hard data into insight and action
  • Able to work independently and comfortable with remote and virtual team structures
  • Experience with global team structures, and responsibility for global projects a strong plus
  • Global mindset
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Experience as a collaborator who can work across operating styles and can bring together multiple perspectives
  • Google Ads / Microsoft advertising Paid search, shopping, Amazon advertising, YouTube, GDN, Paid Social, retargeting, programmatic display /video advertising incl. knowledge of different Lead generation activities, advertising formats and their KPIs. (not all platforms mandatory but a good mix of them and willingness to learn the others)
  • Google suite, Analytics platforms. Programmatic media tools
  • Strong business acumen

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
