Position Summary

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will align organizational strategic goals with the technical initiatives required to achieve them. More specifically, the position will define and maintain current state and target state definitions and inventories of business models, applications, data, services, and technology. Ensures that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in support of the business and IT strategy for all applications and technologies within a specific domain area.

Senior Enterprise Architect role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and demonstrate knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. Responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of the organization's technology architecture components, as well as integration of technical architectures and applications.

Job Functions

  • Provide architectural guidance to drive and govern the TOGAF Architecture Development Methodology (ADM) process.
  • Apply knowledge of business operations, strategies, priorities, and information requirements to establish technical direction from an enterprise view.
  • Collaborating to rationalize the IT Application system roadmap, reducing system capability duplication and cost.
  • Ensure best practices are adhered to. Research, evaluate, and select technologies that best fit business and IT strategic needs.
  • Manage multi-project management accountabilities in developing architecture solutions in a collaborative environment.
  • Participate with design and delivery of enterprise-wide technologies used across multiple areas of the business.
  • Architect solutions across multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps
  • Support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling)
  • Provide oversight of conceptual opportunities to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture viewpoints.
  • Maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each
  • Maintain awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 7 years' IT system development experience in a global organization.
  • TOGAF certification in Architecture Development Methodology (ADM)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of IT architecture optimization and its implications for the business
  • Possesses the broad expertise to integrate the technical vision for IT, integrating across technologies, systems, organizations, and data science.
  • Knowledge and motivation to lead business and technology leaders into the TOGAF ADM strategies.
  • Capable of managing multiple, simultaneous, projects and deliverables.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably BSEE, BSCE, BSEET, or BSCS or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Capability to identify, refine and format appropriate information used for enterprise decision making.
  • Drives leadership in strategic architecture planning for the Corporate IT organization.
  • Know of best practices to garner adoption of the TOGAF open standard practices.
  • Anticipates internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements.
  • Solves unique and complex problems; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
  • Adapts function/business strategy plans and policies to address service and/or operational challenges.
  • Plays a key role in development of enterprise strategy for execution.
  • Solves unique and complex problems; requires conceptual and innovative thinking and education and/or equivalent experience to develop solutions.
  • Responsibility to assign and measure KPI metrics for enterprise evolution success.
  • Capability to communicate complex ideas, and enterprise benefits.
  • Familiarity with the Oracle ERP system and its suite of products, such as Oracle Warehouse Management and Hyperion.
