Position Highlights:

  • Hours: 2-3 days/week, variable

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Dietetics or Food & Nutrition, Health or Diabetes Education, Exercise Physiology, or closely related field
  • Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) required
  • Minimum of two years of clinical dietitian experience In education and/or coaching of individuals for disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change
  • Highly desire candidates with recognized credentials, CAM related certificates and CME credits
  • Functional/Integrative Medicine knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and self-motivated
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

General Summary:

This position devises whole health care management systems for patients. This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care teams to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; managing resources in an effective manner; participating in performance improvement efforts.
