Warehouse Associate

The warehouse person is an hourly employee working in the warehouse area, performing general warehousing duties, working various sizes of containers (cartons containing multiple pints, quarts, gallons or 5-gallon pails) of point and coating products. This is a second shift position. Duties include:

  • Restocknig of incoming products, order picking, staging, checking pallets of product for order accuracy, loading and unloading trucks, cycle counting and housekeeping
  • Loads and unloads shipments, verifies materials and packing slips, and stocks items as appropriate
  • Pulls, picks and stages oirders based on customer needs, prepare items for shipment, and complete appropriate paperwork or updates system records
  • Operates a forklift (must be certified) and other machinery or tools to transport, move, stock and store product
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding materials, work in progress, outgoing orders and other operations to ensure records and counts are accurate
  • Assists with maintaining an inventory of materials, product and goods, such as completing cycle counts, performing calculations, entering information, and other related duties
  • Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may be required to wear safety equipment or gear
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment. May perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Two years experience preferred

Skill Requirements

  • Following directions under limited supervision
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to learn production and operational principles and practices
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Lifting and loading materials
  • Complying with safety and operational guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Basic PC skills
  • Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction
  • Positions in this class require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
  • Exerting in excess of 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

  • One position is open - second shift. Hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm.
