ONE POSITION OPEN for Visiting Research Specialist in molecular and cellular neurobiology biology. The successful candidate will join a small research group using the nematode C. elegans as a model system and studying the differentiation and function of neurons involved in sex-specific behaviors. Funding is available until July 31st 2014 with possibility of renewal.
The selected individual will assist the principal investigator conduct research, supervise undergraduates, manage the laboratory and develop research-based documents for reports and publications.
The position requires an individual with high organizational skills and efficient time management tools. Successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Master's preferred, with a minimum of three (3) years of laboratory experience . Strong background in molecular and cellular biology a plus. For fullest consideration, submit application no later than February 7, 2013.
