The Ounce of Prevention Fund is looking for an intern to help us increase our social media presence among new audiences. This is the perfect position for someone who enjoys social media and writing, and is creative and analytical. You'll help us strategically grow and engage the Ounce community through various digital channels.
The Ounce of Prevention Fund's mission is to give children in poverty the best chance for success in school and in life by advocating for and providing the highest quality care and education from birth to age five. The Ounce reaches thousands of children and families through our programs, training, evaluation and advocacy efforts each year.Responsibilities:
We will make sure you receive a learning experience that fits your career goals. The Ounce can provide a small stipend or college credit. The intern must be able to work during the entire academic year. We are flexible and encourage the intern to set a work schedule that fits around his or her school commitments. The intern must be able to work in our downtown Chicago office. After the intern gets settled in, we can negotiate working from home for a few hours each week.
