Job Summary:

The Licensing group prepares gaming license applications of WMS Gaming Inc., WMS Industries Inc., and related subsidiaries for 250+ jurisdictions worldwide; coordinates the scheduling of interviews between regulatory compliance agencies' and WMS, and responds to regulatory agencies' requests for information.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Complete all aspects of gaming licensing application, including review, submission and filing process.
  • Ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of each gaming application submitted on behalf of the Company.
  • Monitor deadlines and manage workload.
  • Submit prepared corporate and individual applications for review to the Senior Manager Compliance and Licensing.
  • Review Reporting Checklists to ensure compliance with all jurisdictional requirements.
  • Review correspondence from the assigned gaming regulatory agencies, determine action required and prepare necessary correspondence, documents, check request and other written communication.
  • Maintain Access database of verbal and written gaming regulatory agency Licensing communications on an application.
  • Maintain Access database of pending deadlines and provide weekly report.
  • Maintain budget database on licensing fees and investigations and provide monthly year-to-date report.
  • Maintain electronic filing system.
  • Maintain and secure confidential information.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports as necessary for assigned jurisdictions.
  • Communicate as necessary licenses obtained, the cost of each investigation, pending investigations, hearing dates for approval of applications and upcoming license expiration dates.
  • Follow applicable Company and Departmental procedures and policies, as well as desk manual.
  • Utilize Oracle R12 as the Company's ERP System.
  • Utilize ArdentSky as the Company's gaming license application software.
  • Utilize secure vaulted file management and transfer software system.



Qualifications:

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred

Required Experience:

  • Certified Legal Assistant, Paralegal or equivalent highly desired
  • 1 to 3 years with a gaming company's licensing, administrative or finance department or equivalent highly desired
  • 2 or 3 years contract, administrative or analyst experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous regulatory gaming regulatory agency experience helpful
  • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish, preferred, knowledge of other languages helpful

      Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

      • Proficient in MS Access, Excel, Outlook and Word
      • Proficient in conducting internet research
      • Proficient in Omni Form helpful
      • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and have the ability to multi-task
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to synthesize and analyze raw data and draft responses to various gaming regulatory jurisdictional applications and/or forms
