Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of various aspects of the online, interactive, participation, for-sale and network gaming marketing strategies. Also responsible for managing strategic planning, promotion, advertising, online presence, and the incorporation of market research into materials to increase product placement and on-floor product performance.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead the planning and development of various marketing communications programs designed to enable the commercial operations team
Manage the development of company marketing programs designed specifically for the player
Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets with particular emphasis on new media markets
Direct the development of new media marketing programs, content marketing programs and enriching the player experience
Manage online support of thought leadership initiatives
Manage strategy for external communication activities, i.e. electronic newsletters, microsites
Lead development and implementation of marketing programs for new and existing products
Direct corporate website and playerslife.com content strategy (and other online/web services initiatives as they develop).
Manage content strategy for WMS and Social Media Platforms/pages
Manage content creation/distribution/posting/uploading across WMS online properties, including WMS.com and Player's Life destination site
Manage strategy of product demonstration presentations for Jackpot Party Casino
Manage development of online Thought Leadership campaigns (i.e. Active Gambler Profile Microsite)
Assist in developing and enhancing licensor relationships in pursuit of "Licensor of Choice" standing for the company
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all WMS products and services
Manage project budgets
Contribute to team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self performance and/or the efficiency of all operations or tasks
Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of direct reports to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communications
5 years experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
Experience in marketing function in manufacturing environment preferred
Experience in casino, gaming manufacturer or other industry related marketing department of gaming entity preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to strategically analyze marketing opportunities and craft campaigns or content plans around viable options
Must be strong project planner with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with deadline orientation and sensitivity
Exemplary attention to detail with proven organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated budget planning and expense tracking skills
Strong knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Share Point
Some knowledge of sales/marketing aspects of the gaming industry and familiarity with WMS products preferred
