Senior Financial Analyst Job Opening at Presence Health in Des Plaines, IL

Presence Health is hiring a full time Sr. Financial Analyst for Managed Care Department. The individual in this role reports to the System Director, Managed Care Contracting. Provides financial and analytical support for contract negotiations with managed care companies. Assists in system-wide efforts to capture, analyze, and report data as it pertains to managed care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in, mathematics, statistics, business, finance, health care administration, or equivalent experience.

• 3 to 5 years of experience is required.

• Must have an understanding of medical terminology and health care concepts, including knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4, DRG coding concepts.

• Knowledge of managed care payment methodologies, and a working knowledge of reimbursement methodologies such as RBRVS and other standard fee schedule pricing is also preferred.

• The ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement comprehensive solutions.

• Strong analytical and financial skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Knowledge of McKesson’s Pathways Contract Management (PCON), (HBI) & (HPM) software preferred but not required.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
