Job Description:

Hardware and Software Sales: Sales of our complete line of hardware and software products including but not limited to: desktops, laptops, peripherals, enterprise servers and storage, networking, security, software licensing and other software

Services: Sales of our managed service offerings: including but not limited to LAN/WAN/SAN configuration and deployments, bandwidth, Virtualization, VOIP, Security Evaluations, System Configurations, Data Center Management, On-site and remote Break/Fix, Asset Tagging and other customer requested services

Developing and managing new and existing accounts by active communication with prospective and existing customers. Most communications will be done via telephone or other electronic means but we strongly encourage conducting face-to-face meetings with customers to more accurately determine products/service needs. Maintain and enhance long-term relationships with the customers’ key decision makers up to and including the “C” level.

Determining customers’ needs and requirements, negotiating price and delivery requirements, developing customized customer presentations and sales proposals, responding to Requests for Proposals, Quotes and Information and managing the sales process from start to finish ensuring customers’ requirements and expectations are met while keeping company GP and other financial goals in balance.

Organizing and conducting executive briefings when necessary while being responsible for overall account development and growth.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.

Work with available resources (vendors, internal engineers, etc.) to accurately develop quotes and place orders to meet customer objectives.

Continuously prospect new opportunities.

Regularly engage in onsite vendor trainings to constantly expand knowledge on products and services.
Desired Skills:

At least 3 years of experience in IT sales

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Must be highly organized and possess the ability to multi task on a daily basis.

Must have the ability to manage time to maximize sales.

Strong negotiating skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel)
