PRIMARY PURPOSE: To perform complex claims investigation utilizing various public record searches; to compile results and prepare comprehensive investigative reports for submission to Analyst; to analyze results for fraud indicators; and to assist with training needs as requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs complex claims investigation to include public records searches, record retrievals, facility canvasses, online inquiries, infinity searches, and skip trace referrals.
  2. Compiles results and prepares comprehensive investigation report for submission to analyst.
  3. Assists with training needs as requested.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs other duties as assigned.
  2. Supports the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience
Three (3) years of insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
