PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide consulting services designed to reduce the cost of risk and assist in the management of the regulatory environment for clients through the identification, analysis, and evaluation of conditions and practices; to facilitate risk mitigation methods, procedures and programs; to communicate risk mitigation information; to identify service options ensuring optimum results; and to assist with the development of new business, products, and client retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identifies, analyzes and evaluates conditions and practices including (but not limited to) incident analysis; program audits and reviews; regulatory compliance issues; and research of risk-related studies.
  2. Develops risk mitigation programs and procedures to include (but not limited to) development of policy; standards; procedures; risk reduction strategies; training; and application of vendors.
  3. Communicates information to include loss reports, presentations, analyses and interpretation, and advice and counseling.
  4. Works with sales team in developing prospects into clients.
  5. Maintains current knowledge of and adheres to company internal policies and procedures, Corporate directives, standard operating procedures, Professional Account Management Standards, and client service standards.
  6. Assists with the development of new business, products and client retention.
  7. Supports the total quality initiative.
  8. Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Baccalaureate degree with major in technically related field from an accredited college or university strongly preferred. Ability to obtain professional certification required.

Experience
Two (2) years of risk services or technically related experience required. Related education may be substituted for required experience.
