Position Description
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s health care is seeking a detail oriented and personable individual to join the Division of E-Learning. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have the ability to get this new program up and running while taking projects from beginning to end independently.
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Improvement Programs, this individual will manage the development, planning, implementation, evaluation, and data management of an online quality improvement (QI) data aggregation system, and research, develop, and implement new initiatives to enhance program activities.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Health Care, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) and at least 3-5 years experience in the coordination and/or management of collaborative Web-based projects required, including developing implementing, and evaluating online quality improvement systems, budgeting, and data analysis. Experience in project coordination and data management in health care administration, health education, healthcare quality improvement, or related field is highly desirable. Proficiency with MS Office and database management essential. Some weekend work and travel required.
