The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) is responsible for supporting QWE operations including; development, implementation, training and communication of enhanced or new transportation management systems processes, LTL Carrier pricing TMS input, update and maintenance for new customer and carrier's customer set-ups, data imports, misc. LTL pricing analysis, reporting, trouble shooting and administrative needs in operating the business. This position is responsible to assist in. The OSS position requires multi task management and critical thinking skills, resourceful to identify and resolve issues timely and accurately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Training and Education CRM - Mercury Gate - Transoft
* Assist in the development of User Guide Tutorial and supporting training materials SOP's for operating systems
* Participate in training and educating corporate associates and external stations on Fundamental/Essential daily business operations systems; navigation and input/output requirements
o Reporting
o Trouble shooting
* On-boarding New Carriers into the QWE/Quad network including:
o Carrier pricing and service analysis
o Input updated or new LTL Carrier pricing and service schedules into TMS
o Develop pricing custom pricing models into TMS
o Test and implement new or updated LTL carrier pricing into TMS
* New customer set up and approval process in operating systems; CRM, Mercury Gate and Transoft
* Maintain customer profiles to default addresses, uplift amounts, carriers assigned
* Import transactional data from Mercury Gate to Trans-Soft identify and correct data errors as needed
* Provide administrative systems support to QWE Stations timely as needed
o Customer and shipment data maintenance to enable imports/order transactions including; HWB, MWB, carrier, terms
* Set-up new station users and customer's with login, passwords and assign rights
* Administer new MG user requests, updates, terminated user paperwork grant or rescind a user's access to Quad email, Citrix, Trans-Soft, and MG.
* Complete SAR forms for HR approval, including station new hire & termination
Requirements: Strong systems and analytical and critical thinking skills required. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Maintain a positive relationship with the stations and promote teamwork.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and three years related experience in transportation business management or equivalent experience and education in logistics support management. Strong systems and analytical skills required.
Language Skills: Demonstrated communication skills required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, co-workers and the general public. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedural manuals and financial reports. Ability to write summary reports, procedures, proposals and miscellaneous correspondence as needed.
Computer Skills: Must be computer literate and possess good keyboarding skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including excel, word, and power point. Experience with automated transportation management systems, i.e. scheduling, pricing, material tracking, customer and carrier profiles required.
Analytical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates, discounts, ancillary charges, interest, commissions, percentages and apply general accounting concepts to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities needed in order to provide rapid response to problems which impact customer or administrative services. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of verbal and written instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables with limited standardization.
Other Skills: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Requires a thorough knowledge of office and logistics processes, people, technology, policy and procedures required. Strong attention to detail, organizational and inter-personal skills needed.
