| This hourly (non-exempt) position supports all areas of the Investment department in relation to client/prospect communications and materials. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, select and monitor mutual funds and Exchange Trade Funds (ETFs) for Model Portfolios using Morningstar Principia Pro and Zephyr software. Complete morning update/reconciliation of Advent software systems Moxy (Portfolio Modeling) and Axys (Performance Reporting) as well as produce end-of-day reports and assist with monthly performance updates. Compile information and build reports for the Trust Investment Committee and Portfolio Managers Committee meetings. Take minutes for Portfolio Managers Committee meeting. This position will manage the Proxy voting for the department. Produce the Approved List of Equity securities used in each investment strategy. Produce and standardize all investment performance packages presented to clients. Create and update all investment related marketing materials for all areas of The Wealth Management Group (WMG). Maintain written procedures on all aspects of this position. Support new business development efforts by creating reports, graphs, and presentations as requested. Complete assigned research or special projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Banking and or Trust experience a plus. Technical certification or qualifying work experience will be taken into consideration. Enrollment in the CFA program is strongly recommended. Minimum 2 years in a financial services firm monitoring and selecting mutual funds. Experience working with both internal and external IT resources desirable. Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to work in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, organizational skills and a proactive customer service approach. This position requires the incumbent to clearly communicate with internal Wealth Management business units and co-workers. Excellent computer skills are required with above average working knowledge of business software, including but not limited to: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint as well as on-line accounting systems. Working knowledge of mutual fund analysis software, Morningstar Principia Pro and Zephyr software, preferred. The candidate will be required to learn the operation of Advent Software systems, Moxy and Axys. Must be available to travel to various First American Bank branch locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Initial hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Once training is completed, regular scheduled hours will be 7:30am-4:30pm. | |||||||||||
