| Learning Assessment Department Coordinator | |

| Coordinate and maintain testing programs offered through the Center for Learning Assessment, including establishment of testing schedule and assistance in communications with testing companies and appropriate federal, state and professional licensing agencies. Supervise staff at extension campuses. Serve as Chief Examiner for the GED Testing Program. Review staff work schedule for the Center for Learning Assessment to ensure adequate coverage. Maintain the department orientation and training program. Provide training on procedures, practices and test administration for those exams delivered through the Center for Learning Assessment. Review alternate placement assessments. Conduct, in collaboration with the Manager, evaluation of personnel directly responsible to the position. Administer exams through the Center for Learning Assessment, as needed. Comply with state, federal and local rules, regulations and contracts as they apply to testing programs and offerings of the Center for Learning Assessment. Observe principals of good practice as defined by the American Association of Higher Education and National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post secondary Test Centers. Assist in the development, implementation and oversight of goals and objectives for the department. Assist in the development of the department budget. Attend staff meetings and in-service workshops as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. | |
| Bachelor's degree required. Three years of experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing required. Experience in a post secondary institution preferred. One year of supervisory experience required. Good computer literacy skills to include experience operating in a Windows and intranet environment, internet, e-mail and Microsoft Office required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. | |
| Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. | |
| Position is based at the Aurora Campus, with one day per week at the Sugar Grove campus and one day per month at the Plano Campus. Position will be required to fill in evenings and Saturday mornings as needed.
