The Financial Analyst is responsible for setting up and coordinating annual overhead budgets to control costs, headcount, productive labor, yields and overhead rates. Will perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that overhead expenses are within agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Performs risk assessments of new business projections and their impact on staffing requirements and prepares analyses of future resource requirements with reconciliation to current staffing levels. Will analyze cost center budget performance for impact on overhead rate projections and investigates/analyzes major drivers to variances, monitors and reports on the status of corrective action plans. Consolidates forecasts for cost center expenses and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as expense projections, headcount forecasts, and variance analysis. Incorporates organizational changes into control systems by staying aware of restructuring and reorganization plans within the various business areas.
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or other business related field.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Access.
* Demonstrated strength in interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills.
* U.S. citizen and ability to obtain security clearance.
* 1-2 years related experience.
* Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Past intern experience with NGC.
