Position Description
UHC, a national alliance of over 100 academic health centers, has an immediate opening for a Employee & Organizational Development Specialist.

In this new position, the incumbent will collaboratively establish standards and/or facilitate corporate consistency in curriculum design, development, delivery, certification, attendance tracking and measurement of UHC educational offerings for members.

The position ensures consistent and superior delivery of education and learning to members supporting UHC's member satisfaction and financial performance goals.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION
-Ability to communicate effectively with others in order to coach and lead.
-Ability to interface and communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in a clear and concise manner with all levels of employees, managers, and vendors.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate the exchange of information
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Excellent public speaking skills.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
-Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
-Time management and prioritization skills.
-Ability to facilitate group discussions
-Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.
-Ability to work independently.
-Ability to lead project teams and mentor project team participants.

ANALYTICAL
-Ability to make appropriate conclusions and recommendations from analysis.
-Ability to translate analysis into reports suitable for presentation.

CONSULTATIVE
-Experience in facilitating change.

TECHNICAL
-Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook
-Experience in meeting planning and facilitation
-Experience with web conferencing technology
-Familiarity with HTML
-Experience with online content development tools such as Captivate or Articulate
-Experience with online talent or learning management system is a plus (e.g. Halogen)
