Provide leadership and
direction related to the career preparation of graduate and undergraduate students by
benchmarking best practices and develop strategies to improve the career
preparation and placement of students.
Promote and generate visibility of the Business
Career Center with local and national businesses for the purpose of hiring
interns and college graduates by evaluating and develop strategies to expand
corporate partners and delivering presentations.
Identify and cultivate corporations to find internship and
full time job opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students.
Promote and collaborate with external corporate
partners in the development of career preparation activities for students. Solicit corporate executives, human resources
professionals, recruiters, and alumni for participation in career related
events. Promote and solicit overall
engagement within the College of Business.
Attend corporate, alumni and
professional associations and events to cultivate a network of key decision
Coordinate Business Career Center programming
with student organizations and internal departments.
Collaborate with cross functional department
projects and initiate new programming. Represent the Business Career Center on various
committees and college wide initiatives
Solicit and collect feedback from students,
professionals, alumni and employers. Benchmark the best practices of both career service functions and corporate
university relations departments.
Plan, assign and review work of staff to ensure
that group objectives are met. Hire,
