Founded in 1926 as the first hospital in DuPage County, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital strives to enhance the health of the communities and customers we serve. With 427 licensed beds, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and its staff of more than 3,200 employees and 600 physicians are committed to excellence in medical and surgical care, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, maternity and emergency care.
Today, we are clearly more than a hospital. We are Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare, a comprehensive health care system with nearly a dozen locations to serve our patients.
We are:
- Elmhurst Clinic, a multi-specialty medical group with practice locations in Elmhurst, Carol Stream and Wood Dale.
- Elmhurst Memorial Home Health, providing a complete range of healthcare services in a home setting.
- Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health, a beautiful outpatient health care facility located at York and Roosevelt Roads designed with your needs in mind.
- ELMCARE, combining the strengths of the Hospital and area physicians in order to maximize our effectiveness in a managed care environment.
- Elmhurst Memorial Guidance Services, providing outpatient behavioral health services to individuals, families, groups, couples children and adolescents.
- Elmhurst Memorial Occupational Health Services, providing medical care for work-related illness and injury, physical exams and screenings, wellness and prevention programs, and employee support.
- Elmhurst Memorial Health Education Center for the Community of Villa Park, providing our neighbors in Villa Park with health education resources and audio-visual materials on health topics, Internet access and meeting space.
- Elmhurst Memorial Addison Health Center, providing multi-specialty physicians and health education programs for community residents.
