The firm specializes in the sales of mutual funds. Our target markets are: high net worth individuals, representing approximately 10 % of our sales and public pension funds, which account for 90 %.

Our team of professionals has over 110 years of collective experience helping our clients meet their investment objectives. The Consulting services we offer to clients is as broad and diverse as our client needs. While we serve both the private and public sectors, today the profile of our clients are most likely trustees of a public pension fund qualified under Illinois Pension Law, Chapter 40 ILCS 5/22-503.2,40 ILCS5/4-118, and 40ILCS 5/3 or trustees of some other governmental group responsible for investing a pool of funds or overseeing a deferred compensation plan. Our role may be to: oversee the product providers and to provide quarterly performance reports, or to conduct the selection process of administrator/product providers, or money managers, or we may be retained to determine the asset allocation for a plan and to research and recommend the product options, or provide employee benefit training. Often times our role begins with preparing the Investment Policy. Our role as a Consultant often times is in the actuarial arena where we are preparing a cash flow so the trustees and the elected officials of a government entity have a valuable planning tool for decisions regarding funding of their plan. Recently, two of the largest down state pension funds, and long time actuarial clients, one police and one fire, and their municipality hired our firm to evaluate actuarial numbers prepared by the US Department of Labor, to end a seven year discrimination suit. They didn’t trust the numbers presented by the Department of Labor and didn’t want to sign off until the Consultants they trusted had verified the accuracy of the numbers.
