SUMMARY
The Industrial Engineering Intern will work on targeted projects individually or in small teams. Projects may require operational observations, data collection/analysis, cross functional communication and problem solving. All projects and tasks will be presented to Engineering management upon completion and a broader leadership group for their major assigned project. The internship will include assignments on challenging and industry-specific projects and tasks that a traditional Industrial Engineer would support in a warehouse environment, as well the opportunity to network with organizational leaders, colleagues, and peers.
The Industrial Engineering Intern will provide support with the day-to-day operation and project-based assignments. Focus will be on continuous improvement and business optimization for operations.
This position requires attention to detail, analytical abilities, a creative mind to invent solutions to improve quality and internal process related to information sharing, data analysis, etc.
